Islam in South East Europe Forum (ISEEF)
Islam in South East Europe Forum - ISEEF is a project that aims to bring together local and international researchers and consultants to discuss and exchange information, views, opinions and analysis of the issues primarily related to the policy relevant aspects of Islam and Muslim presence in SEE.
Objective
ISEEF aims to provide service to the public by producing quality research on Islam in SEE. More specifically, ISEEF aims at:
1) Providing policy-makers with a reliable and balanced source of information and expert analysis, free of sensationalism and propaganda, to help reduce duplication of effort; 2) Providing researchers and analysts with a permanent specialized peer forum for information exchange and discussion; and 3) Combining the strengths of local and foreign researchers and consultants: the immediate access to information and opportunities to verify it, and the research and communications skills to access international publishers and policy makers. o The role of Balkan Muslims in Muslim integration in Europe and institutionalization of Islam in EU
o New trends in Islam in SEE since 1990
o Religious radicalism in SEE
o Muslim reactions to recent wars in SEE: War and Peace among Balkan Muslims
